This Privacy Policy explains how MyWebSpace Technologies (“MyWebSpace”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data. MyWebSpace Technologies is a sole proprietorship (Proprietor: Shila Sinha), registered under Udyam (UDYAM-WB-14-0288351) and holding Trade Licence (Certificate of Enlistment) No. 0917P77426513973 issued by Titagarh Municipality. Its registered address is Holding No. 55, C-2, 2nd Floor, Laxmi Narayan Apartment, Nai Basti, A.P. Devi Road, Titagarh – 700119, and its correspondence address is MB Line, B.T. Road, Opposite Titagarh Police Station, Titagarh, Kolkata – 700119, West Bengal, India.
This policy applies to mywebspace.in and all its subdomains and apps, including MudraOS, Saraswati OS, AI Creative Studio, Smart Teacher, Rishte Naate and Naata (together, the “Services”). It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, mobile number, and profile details from Google Sign-In if you use it.
- Business or school data you enter: for example stock, bills, ledgers (MudraOS), or student, staff and fee records (Saraswati OS).
- Content you create: prompts, uploaded files, images, audio and the outputs generated through our AI tools.
- Payment data: transaction ID, amount and status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment gateway (Cashfree Payments). We do not store them.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, log data and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
2. Why we use it
- To create your account and provide the Services.
- To process payments and maintain your AI credit balance.
- To send service messages such as bills, receipts, OTPs and important updates (by email, SMS or WhatsApp).
- To keep the Services secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising inside our apps.
3. Consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up or use a feature, and for legitimate uses permitted by law. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer. Some Services may then stop working for you.
4. Who we share data with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Payment gateway: Cashfree Payments, to process payments.
- AI service providers: OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude), to generate AI outputs. Your prompts and files are sent to them only to produce your result.
- Hosting and communication providers: our servers, Cloudflare (website security and performance), our email service, and Meta (WhatsApp) for sending messages.
- Government authorities, when required by law.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We use only reputed providers bound by their own data-protection terms.
5. Data of children
Our Services are meant for adults. Saraswati OS runs inside each school’s own website, and student records are stored in the school’s own cloud storage account, not on MyWebSpace servers. The school is responsible for obtaining verifiable consent from parents or guardians, and MyWebSpace acts only as the school’s data processor. We do not track children or use their data for advertising.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal and business data, except payment and AI-credit ledger records, which we keep in anonymised form as required for accounting and law.
7. Security
Our websites and apps are protected by Cloudflare, which provides SSL encryption (HTTPS), DDoS protection and a web application firewall. We also use access controls and regular backups. No online system is fully secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a complaint. Write to the Grievance Officer. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for login and security. We do not use advertising cookies inside our apps. See our Cookie Policy.
